Sashiko

During this event the aim is to learn the art of Sashiko in an outdoor woodland setting 

Kelly Dawson is local artist and fashion designer who specialises in reclaimed denim and eco/slow fashion. She will give an outline and then work with each person individually.

Pay what you can bar:
During this event we will have and area for you to help yourself tea and fresh brewed coffee (cow and Oat milk options) and a selection of home baked goods as and when you like – simply mark down what you have and pay at the end.

You will be given a starter pack with Sashiko Natural thread and Sashiko needle.

To bring:
Clothes you wish to repair. Jean material preferable.

You will go home with the thread you are working with and a sashiko needle.
