Join us for a unique range of woodland workshops.
Each event takes place in the woodlands on the school grounds of Wallands School. We aim to begin promptly. If arriving by car use the school carpark.
All attendees should follow the signs from the car park to the woodlands where the instructors will be ready to greet you.
All events take place in an outdoor setting. Please bring appropriate clothing. In case of rain we will have a canopy but will continue with the outdoor plan.
Join us for our Easter Event this Friday in the KS1 top playground!
There will be an Easter egg hunt, cake stall and join us in the hall for the bike-a-thon finale!!

Wallandsfest is Back!
We’re excited to share that Wallandsfest is back for 2026 and it’s as big as ever. We’re looking forward to sharing more details soon, but expect all the usual favourites:

And a few new surprises!
For anyone new to the school, Wallandsfest is our annual festival held on the school grounds. A great event for the families of Wallands pupils to come together for a weekend of fun, everyone volunteers the time they can spare and with all profits going back into the school through Friends of Wallands.

On Friday your children hopefully came home with their sponsorship form. Here is what it is all about ….
The children’s mission this term is to raise £20.26 (or more) by setting a challenge and asking friends and family to sponsor them to complete it! Over the last few years, the children have done many things – Sponsored walk, 5K run, cake bakathon, cake sale, sponsored silence, keepy uppy challenges, sponsored swims, sponsored car washing, sponsored reads, sponsored portrait painting, sponsored litter picking… and there are many more we’re sure they will think of! All children receive acknowledgement of their achievements in assembly and are rewarded with a medal.

Get in the festive spirit with a roaring fire and music playing while you create your wreath, sip mulled wine and nibble on Swedish gingerbread biscuits
Come along for a fun and relaxed creative afternoon. Bring your friends or come on your own. The ticket includes everything you will need to make your own beautiful wreath, a free glass of mulled wine and a few biscuits.

Your ticket includes all children’s activities: visit Santa in his workshop and receive a small gift, feed the reindeer, and get creative with a range of festive crafts.
There’s plenty for adults to enjoy too — sip on mulled wine, listen to live music, browse our Christmas gifts stall, and try your luck in the raffle for a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

This year Wallands’ famous Christmas event is Nordic-inspired. FOW are changing it up with lots of exciting new experiences to enjoy…
Step into our northern lights experience, feed the (puppet) reindeer, play in our shadow puppet yurt, and of course, toast marshmallows by the fire. Visit the Elves Workshop for free Christmas crafting that will keep the children entertained for ages! Expect a great music line-up, a licensed bar, delicious chef-cooked food, schnapps, mulled wine, hot chocolate, carols, and generally lots of feeling festive! Make sure to visit our Christmas gifts stall to stock up on those much-needed stocking items too!
