Oyster Mushroom Log Cultivation

Join us in the woods in the grounds of Wallands school for a social and relaxed event, to learn how to cultivate your own Pearl Oyster mushroom log. Working in small in groups to drill holes, inoculate the log and then seal these with food grade wax.
Once complete you can take your Pearl Oyster Mushroom Log home and watch it grow. We have selected Pearl Oyster mushroom for its ease and comparatively speedy growth.
With a fire, lovely things to eat and drink and music, this is a relaxed workshop designed for learning and spending time in nature. There will be options to pay for further pre-inoculated logs (Shiitake and Tarragon Oyster) if anyone wishes to have more than one.
